For optical labs and distributors · Pilot programme

Ordering like Zeiss, for your opticians.
The prescription checked before production.

Opticians send you orders on WhatsApp, by email or by phone. We read them, check the values, prepare them in your system and send the status automatically. Your team just approves.

The big brands give opticians online ordering, checked and tracked. Local labs give them a phone number.

Zeiss, Hoya and Essilor run platforms that check every order and show its status around the clock. At a local lab the prescription arrives on WhatsApp or by email, someone types it in, and the optician calls to ask where the order is.

5-15%

of prescription lens orders get remade. Each remake costs a pair of lenses and another courier.

Scenarios

How opticians write to you. And what happens next.

Examples in their own words. Each one lands in the same place, checked and ready for your team.

Contact lens cases in different colours

Contact lens reorders, without typing.

The optician's monthly order, by email or WhatsApp, arrives prepared with the right code and power. Anything out of stock gets an arrival date.

2 boxes of Biofinity −2.75 and 3 of Acuvue Oasys −4.00 for Vision Optics. Biofinity −2.75: in stock, ships today. Oasys −4.00: arrives Thursday, we'll tell you when it ships.

"Where's my order?"

The optician finds out on WhatsApp, without calling.

Equipment quotes.

A request for an autorefractor or a lensmeter becomes a quote prepared in your system, at your prices. Your colleague checks it and sends it today.

Overdue balances, politely.

A monthly statement and a friendly WhatsApp message for opticians with overdue invoices. You approve every message.

What it checks

Mistakes get caught before the edger, not after.

Impossible values.

An axis outside 0-180, powers not in 0.25 steps, a missing add on progressives.

What's missing.

PD, fitting height, lens type, index, coating. It asks the optician before production.

What you actually have.

The lens and index exist in your catalogue, and the stock and lead time are the real ones.

A person approves.

Nothing goes into production without someone on your team. Every order stays on record with the original message.

Questions

Do you read photos of prescriptions or handwritten order forms?

Text messages and emails we read today. Prescription photos and order forms we are building now, together with the labs in the pilot programme, on their real orders.

Do we have to change the software we use?

No. We work on top of what you have: Odoo, SmartBill, SAGA or a lab system. If we can't write into it directly, we start from an orders inbox and an export.

Does it send orders into production on its own?

No. Every order is a draft until someone on your team approves it.

Do opticians have to install anything?

No. They write to you as they do now, on WhatsApp or by email. They just get an answer and a status straight away.

What does it cost?

The pilot is free. After that, a setup fee and a monthly price that depends on how many orders go through it.
